Tom Wilson's Career in music started way before House Music revolution in the late eighties.

Tom Wilson fronted Steppin' Out, a radio show that ran for a incredible 15 years from '85 to '00 on Forth FM, a local radio station that only transmitted in central Scotland. But his following & popularity stretched worldwide due to his radio show.

What you also have to remember is that here was no internet at the time, so some nutters* would regularly travel to the fringes of Scotland just to tape his show before traveling back again. Then they would send on copies of the show on to friends and other fans and they would pass them as well. [ * Nutters = Hardcore Fans ]

Aside from the stepping out radio show, Tom Wilson was also a in-demand Dj as well with regular appearances at all the well known raves in Scotland at that time for example, The Fubar Club in Stiring, Rezerection in Ingliston, Hanger 13 in Ayr, Meltdown & Awesome 101 to name a few.

One event in particular - Fantazia's Big Bang @ The S.E.C.C, he cited as his favorite event for being in awe due to the amount of people dancing during his set. As a continuation of DJ'ing, Tom Wilson was also known as a highly talented and respected music producer and released quite a few singles & remixes including the club classic, Technocat.

On Thursday 25th March 2004, Tom Wilson passed away following a heart attack after a short period of illness.
