Thanks for bring that point up because that is a very good question.

 

Before we first started writing this website we were using a very different scanner indeed. The scanner we had was the worst scanner we have ever worked with and the end scans basically came out jank. We have since bought a new scanner during building this site and the end results are oblivious to see!. As we can adjust the dpi, the scans are now coming out much more cleaner, vibrant and sharper than the last scanner and we wished that we had bought this scanner before we started building this site!. Now that we have finished with the main gubbins, we have been trying to go though the site and updating the offending pictures when we can!.
