July 15th - Milton Keynes: The Eclipse The party scene suffers a major setback in Buckinghamshire as intervention from the authorities forces the crew of "The Eclipse" to cancel their party at very short notice.
Their planned rave is given the red card as Thames Valley Police slam an injunction on their forthcoming party, the organisers handle the bad news by counter-attacking the authorities and contesting their injunction in court.
Surprisingly, the organisers prayers are answered as the judge overturns the original verdict and they are left free to concentrate on their event.
Now with a proper drawn-up contract with the land-owner of the festival site, the organisers carry on with their project in anticipation of the thousands of clubbers who are about to come and celebrate this hard-fought victory with the organisers.
Unbeknown to the organisers, the local authorities, still smarting from their loss, pre-empt fate by paying a discrete visit to the land owner.
After the normal round of scare stories, badgering and harrasment, the land owner finally gives in to their pressure and pulls out of the Eclipse project.
