November 24th - London: Energy

The mounting stress of hosting Fun City and travelling all over the UK for the last couple of years doesn't seem to dampen Karma Promotions enthusiasm to host parties as Energy secures the use of one of the biggest venues in London, the five thousand capacity Academy in Brixton, south London.

The Academy building originally started off as part of the Astoria theatre chain and had laid in a derelict state for at least ten years since it's closure as a cinema in the early seventies. Due to the serious lack of decent sized venues in London the venue has recently had a change in it's fortunes and has received a new lease of life as a concert venue. The team from Energy start to show the Academy's real potential when they begin hold monthly all-nighters at the venue.

November 24th - Burnley: Mad Hatters Tea Party

Lancashire Constabulary scourge on the illegal scene continues apace as they take the heavy handed approach to arrest another two-hundred-and-eighty-four people for dancing in a derelict warehouse near the Worsthorne suburb of Burnley, Lancashire.

As the tea party was creating a full head of steam, [ pardon ] a division of officers from Lancashire's riot squad storm the warehouse. This time, the authorities have come even more prepared as they have axes to break down the doors and a fork-lift truck to jack-up the shutters.

In scenes reminiscent to Love Decade a few months back, ravers lock themselves in the warehouse until the officers finally break through a couple of hours later. Once inside the building, the police arrest all the guests and took them to police stations all over the north-west of England.

December - Nottingham: Timeout

Organiser Kenny khan's organisation is threatened with legal action and has been run out of business from a very unexpected source.

Boyant after setting the midlands alight with his latest party at the Marcus Garvey Centre in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire last month, a team of lawyers representing Cadbury Schweppes informs them to stop using the "Timeout" name immediately as their client produces a chocolate bar with the same name.

December 21st - Bath: Perception

After hosting a series of successful parties during the course of this year, Chris Griffin's Perception end their year with "the christmas celebration" at the Bath Pavilions in Bath, Avon.

It has been a action packed first year for the team at Peception in which they have breathed new life into a old train station in the centre of Bristol, Avon. The team have also moved away from their spiritual home and held headlining parties in Oxford and Henley-upon-Thames, Oxfordshire. If that wasn't enough to contend with in their first year, the team are one person short and they have also been busy holding weekly parties at the Birdlands in Bristol, Avon.
