October - London: Centerforce FM

Things are not going to plan for Andy Swallow and the crew at Centerforce FM as they have a visit from officials at the DTI [ department for trade and industry - the authority in charge of the UK's airwaves and pirate radio broadcasts sometimes interfere with emergency frequencies ] and officers from the local Metropolitan Police.

Centerforce's worst fears are realised as the DTI seize and confiscate their transmission equipment and the officers arrest their DJ's. Right on their case, another group of officers carry out a simultaneous raid at Echo's nightclub in Bow, east London. Police officers rigorously search the bar staff, venue and guests and as a result of the well-executed raid, police officers discover a substantial quanity of controlled substances and offensive weapons from the premesis.

October 7th – Cambridge: Drumboogie

Back in the east of England, "Two Brothers [ a.k.a David and Stuart Banks ] promotions" hold their first pay party "Drumboogie" in a warehouse somewhere in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

David and Stuart dodgly "requisition" their intended venue, but later on that night the brothers have some serious explaining to do when the keyholder of the warehouse storms into their party to ask what they are doing in his warehouse. David and Stuart stall the warehouse owner after explaining to him that they paid his "business partner" for the use of his building.

Some time later, their stalling tactic backfires and becomes an "on-top" situation for the pair due to the keyholder coming back to his warehouse as he has just spoken to his "business partner". After another confrontation, the owner suddenly "disappears" from the scene. After their party has finished, David and Stuart find the keyholder in a back room, a bit worse for wear after being plied with loads of booze!.

October 12th - Blackpool: Freedom To Party Campaign

A new political organisation that's been primed to fight for the ravers cause, the "Freedom To Party" campaign is launched at the Conservative Party conference in Blackpool, Lancashire. The brainchild of the "Association Of Dance Party Promoters", their goal is to create an effective dialogue between the pay party organisers and the Government's main spokesman, the in-coming home secretary Witney's Douglas Hurd MP.

However, all the very good intentions by the members of the coalition [ Colston-Hayter, Taylor, Sandy, Le Pirate, de Meza and Sunrise PR officer Paul Staines ] is undermined by the national media who always do their best to discredit the campaign as a credible political organisation and acid house as a whole.

After the lukewarm response at their enemies party conference, another press conference is arranged by the members of the campaign. During the press conference, campaign chief Tony Colston-Hayter emphasises how safe and trouble free his parties are and duly invites the secretary of state to one of his parties to see how safe they are for himself. Surprisingly, the Home Secretary's office didn't take up Mr. Colston-Hayter's kind invitation.
