August 11th - Great Yarmouth: Dance Paradise

After the more than successful start by the Banks brothers with their Eclipse venture in Cambridge, east anglian organiser Alekos Faccas joins a procession which could be leading to greater things in the sleepy seaside town of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

With a bag full of records in tow, Evil Eddie Richards, Jumping Jack Frost and Stafford's Nexus 21 made their way to Tiffanys on the seafront to celebrate the birth of Dance Paradise. Sadly, not everything turns to gold for Alexos and Dance Paradise as their return party at the Ocean Rooms in the suburb of Gorleston, Great Yarmouth has to be scrapped.

August 18th - Worthing: Yikes & Dance '90

Fronted by Berkshire DJ and organiser Marvin Connor, his Yikes! organisation has been regularly packing out the Slough Centre in Slough, Berkshire to bursting point since it's inception a couple of years ago.

Marvin replaced his intimate and cosy sweatbox in Berkshire for the fresh sea breeze [ and another sweatbox ] when he moved his operation eighty miles down south to co-host a party with the "other" Dance '90 at Sterns nightclub in Worthing, west Sussex.

September

September 1st - London: Kiss FM

Times have truely changed in as one of top pirate radio stations in London, Kiss FM station crosses the commercial border to become the first legal dance music station in the UK. Silent for a couple of years in a bid to complete their legal transition, patience is a virtue for the bosses at the station when the DTI awards the station a coveted radio broadcasters license for the second time of asking.

Transmitting to London and the surrounding counties and going head-to-head with it's more established and bigger rival at Capital FM... Kiss FM's main objective is to attract their bread-and-butter listenership with their daytime progammes and at night, transmit a varied selection of dance music by making use of the plethora of specialist artists they have on their burgeoning DJ rosta.

September 22nd - Ryton-On-Dunsmore: Amnesia House

The end of this month signals the end of an era for the motley crew at Coventry's Amnesia House as they host their sixth and final party at the Sky Blue Connexion in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Shropshire.

The tragic events that took place near their venue haven't gone un-noticed, the local authorities swiftly renege on their business transaction and close down the popular venue. An all-star DJ line-up featuring Frankie Bones, Andy Carroll, Grooverider, Top Buzz, Keith Suckling plus residents Doc Scott and Dobbo bring down the curtain to conclude a colourful second chapter in the "Amnesia House Story".
