February 8th - Edinburgh: Rezerection

Due to the lack of large venues in their hometown of Newcastle, the team from Rezerection begins to search all over the north of England to try and find a new venue that will hold their growing following.

Unable to find a suitable venue that will cope with their needs in the north, Rezerection cast their net even futher affield. The Rezerection team eventually find a suitable venue and start to hold top secret meetings with the venue owners and local authorities.

After months of meetings and tough negotiations with all those involved, Rezerection's persistance finally pays off as they get to host their first major rave at the five thousand capacity Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, Edinburgh.

February 26th - Farnworth: The Pleasuredrome

After a undercover operation held by the Lancashire Constabulary in November last year, according to the Bolton Evening News, the Pleasuredrome's late night license is revoked after the operation by the Police discovers that bar staff are openly dealing in drugs.

Meanwhile, at Pleasuredrome's license hearing it is also suggested that their alcohol license shouldn't be renewed when it is due in a couple of months time. The council bosses in charge at the hearing agree with the alcohol proposal.

February - Farnworth: The Pleasuredrome

There is another nasty shock to the system coming as the Manchester Evening News also delivers their verdict on the undercover operation at the Pleasuredrome in Farnworth, Lancashshire.

In their piece, they reveal that the club is going bust and the owners would like to sell the venue with it's license intact. The water taps in the club are permanently turned off, leaving many of the guests dehydrated and having to pay 30p for a pint of water. With writing that any reporter from the Sun would be proud of, the damming article also goes on to say that drug-taking at the Pleasuredome is "rife" and there has been some serious overcrowding issues at the venue.
