February 29th - Margate: Seduction
Seduction start off their hectic calendar by hosting a event at the Lido Complex in Margate.
March 2nd - Chicago: Ron Hardy
Local DJ and producer Ron Hardy dies of a suspected drugs overdose aged just thirty-three. One of the only a handful of DJ's who could challenge Frankie Knuckles to the title of "Godfather of House".
Ron Hardy would make the genre his own as he used a variety of devices [ turntables, tape decks and reel-to-reel players ] to keep Chicago's vibrant party scene guessing during his marathon seventy-two-hour mix sessions.
Ron Hardy was also instrumental in the development of the Warehouse in downtown Chicago alongside Frankie Knuckles before moving out to Los Angeles, california to take up a new residency.
With some major enticement, he came back to Chicago to be installed as the resident of the newly-opened Music box [ a.k.a. the old Warehouse ] and was also made a partner by owner Robert Williams.
Fiercely burning lifes candle from both ends, Ron Hardy's path to destruction was just as controversial as his rival Larry Levan as Ron's personal life was a rich tapestry of sex, wild parties, and substance abuse.

March 7th - Stoke-on-Trent: Golden
Inspired by Sasha's performances at Delight, Jon Hill and his friends Jason and Joe decide to try and fill the void left by the lack of decent house music nights in the area.
The organisers eventually find a venue in Stoke-on-Trent that would let them host a night, Peppers - a cosy little club with a capacity of just a hundred guests.
Golden also needed residents for their parties, so they recruit locals Kelvin Andrews and Pete Bromley to be their residents. They also call upon a up-and-coming DJ from Nottingham called Allister Whithead to be the first guest DJ.
March 13th - Longton: Entropy
Entropy move at lighting speed when they hear of the rumours that The Leisurebowl will be closing down due to losing it's entertainments license. Staffordshire Police have also said that there are some serious drug misuse issues inside and around the vicinity of the club in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.
Within a few weeks of hearing the news, Entropy moves across the road to fill the vacant friday night slot at Shelley's Laserdrome. The owner of Shelley's, John Matthews is thought to be a very happy man at present as his venue is fully booked at the weekends. Coventry's Amnesia House hold their Saturday nights at his venue, so everything is ok for the time been...
March 14th - Mansfield: Renaissance
As things are ticking over nicely for Yard promotions and Zest who are enjoying their third month at the venue, Saturday nights will put Mansfield on the clubbing map. Conceived by Geoff Oakes, Renaissance is at the forefront of a quiet revolution as they begin to host events at Venue 44 in Mansfield.
Renaissance will also pull out all stops in their production values to make Saturdays nights in Stoke, a night not to be missed. Renaissance's success story we be a turning point in DJ Sasha's career as he is installed as a resident at the venue and the organisation. Sasha's career into the realms of house will progress even futher after he arranges a guest slot for up-and-coming south coast DJ John Digweed after listening to his demo tape.
At this junction in his blossoming career, DJ Sasha will concentrate and solely play at house music functions and hardcore raves will be a thing of the past for him.
