Summer - National: B.P.M In the wake of the axing of the popular late-night show "Hitman and Her", the clubscene once again gets a mention as a new television programme called "B.P.M" is launched onto terrestial airwaves.
A product of Granada television, B.P.M is mainly transmitted to viewers in the north of England using the late-night slot vacated by Waterman's and strachan's washed-up effort.
In a promising first episode, hosts Dave Dorrell and American Brenda Tuohy presented the show from Angels in Burnley, there's also a video diary from Stu Allan and there are features from The Shamen and Cowboy Records.

August 28th - Shrewsbury: Pandemonium Pandemonium's first venture outdoors, "Here comes the sun", due to be held at Forton Airfield near Shrewsbury is dramatically cancelled with just a couple of days to go.
As part of their licensing conditions, Pandemonium was to provide a 12 ft. perimeter fence for their event.
The monday before, the council was still insistant that they still needed the "12 ft." fencing because they knew that no one in England made fencing of this size.
Pandemonium, quickly found a engineer who would fashion them a perimeter fence of the same size that the council requested, and erect it before the event was due to take place on the following saturday.
A couple days before the event, an official from the council had measured the original perimeter fence and declared it wasn't high enough, and decided to pull the plug on the event [ and announced the cancellation on local radio ] before promoter Mark Chamberlain could put the fence in place.
