April

April 9th - Milton Keynes: World Dance

In a break from their normal hangouts at the Paradise Club in north London and the Main Hangar at the Airport in Lydd, Kent... Bliss' World Dance moves north-east to host a easter special at The Sanctuary in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

April 9th - Enstone: Raindance

The year starts to gather momentum when oldskool promoters Raindance take to the road to host their first event of the year, "Ultrarave" at Enstone Airfield in Oxfordshire.

For the Ticket holders... They will have the chance to see a multitude of live acts including Micky Finn, Slipmatt, Top Buzz, Ellis Dee, Grooverider, DJ Face, The Prodigy and New Class A as they be taken on a eleven-hour musical journey into the unknown. This event will also signal a change in the times as this will be the last true outdoor event the organisers will hold.

April 23rd - Milton Keynes: Fantazia

It is all change for the organisers of Fantazia as they hold their last indoor rave in England, the "2nd Brithday" at The Sanctuary in Milton Keynes. There are suggestions that Fantazia will be back with another major rave in late summer for thirty thousand at Cricket St Thomas Park in Somerset. All bets are off as their license application is refused for a second time.

As it is now near enough impossible to gain a license to hold a outdoor event, even if you are one of the biggest promoters in the UK - Fantazia abandon hardcore, the music there are famous for championing, for the more accepted and it's commercially viable older brother, House.

After this event, Fantazia will begin to scale down their one-off events and start to plough their efforts into merchandising via their Fantazia Clothing label. Fantazia will also release a series of Mix CD's through their new record label - Fantazia Music ltd.

April 30th - Warminster: Universe

The tents are set up, the front gates and ravers are all set and raring to go as Shurey and Jenkinson from Universe host the first Tribal Gathering at Lower Pertwood Farm near Warminster, Wiltshire.

Universe go on to enthrall their public by producing a amazing eight page comic book flyer containing a huge selection of acts including Sven Väth, Tanith, Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Top Buzz, Aphex Twin and DiY to showcase their talents in what could be the event of the year.

The artists involved in the first gathering will play in five tents to a estimated 25,000 strong crowd of all types and persuasions, within the rolling wiltshire countryside. At the event there is total chaos on the surrounding roads resulting in a 15 mile traffic jam leading up to the site, success comes at a price...
