August 20th - Wavendon: Dreamscape Murray Beeston from ESP Promotions has a cunning plan to take raving to the next level by arranging to host "Woodstock 2", a two-day rave festival at Fen Farm near Wavendon, Buckinghamshire. To let guests know what type of event Woodstock II is going to be like, ESP Promotions print the biggest rave flyer to date and their promotions drive included the launch of a flying cow... Murray's and ESP's hard work pays off as the entertainments licence has been fully granted by the local council!.
Under the surface though there was some difficulties with the backer of the event... After a discrete company check [ Murray and the backer had created a joint company for the funds and proceeds from Woodstock II ] he discovers that the backer has named himself as a company director and his best friend the company secretary, leaving Murray and ESP Promotions out in the cold - Murray demands that a substantial amount of funds to be put into the company account for the running of Woodstock II.
The backer refuses his demand - Murray has no option but to pull the plug on the Woodstock II project entirely. After Woodstock II's cancellation, Murray discovers the backer [ company directors can write cheques and withdraw cash without any other persons authorisation ] has breezed off with the ticket money from three thousand guests - Murray has been left "high and dry" as he and ESP Promotions are the public faces of the Woodstock II festival...
With his organisation facing possible bankcrupcy and sticking his head above the parapit to deflect the critisism... Murray informs the rave media that anyone who has brought a ticket for Woodstock II should contact him at the ESP offices immediately as they will get a full refund or they will get a compilmentary ticket for the next Dreamscape party at the Sanctuary - at his own expense...

August 28th - Milton Keynes: Sunrise After an absence of nearly three years, Dave Roberts - co-promoter from one of the biggest acid house organisations, "Sunrise" has a bright vision of the future when his newly reformed team attempts to host the spectacular "Love Energy '93" all-dayer at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
Now minus their original organiser Tony Colston-Hayter, Love Energy '93 is licensed for a estimated sixty thousand ravers within the biggest open-air concert venue in the United Kingdom. With financial backing courtesy of a unknown American backer, Sunrise's Love Energy '93 is going out to eradicate the memory of Perception's midsummers night scam a few years back.
Sunrise has a line-up to savor which includes forty live acts and thirty DJ's, documented in a four-page souvenir booklet, Love Energy '93 is going to be one of those ground-breaking events... The curse of Perception and the Bowl strikes again as Love Energy is cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
