January

January 1st - London: Desert Storm

Jarvis Sandy - A well travelled organiser from the past with the legendary Biology parties in '89, launches a new venture for London's junglistic tribe - Desert Storm. Held on the first day of a brand new year and adding a new slant to jungle raving by giving their raves a kind of Jamaician dancehall [ rough and ready ] vibe, Desert Storm host the "V.I.P Bash Part II" at the Roller Express in Edmonton, north London.

January 7th - Swindon: The Fruit Club

Hungry after kicking off the first round of successful events late last year, Steve Reid's Meditation start off the new year on the right note by holding another round of "The Fruit Club" at the Brunel Rooms In Swindon, Wiltshire. There's going to be more happy days ahead for the Swindon gang as Meditation will start holding "Till The Break Of Dawn" all-nighters starting early next month!.

January 14th - London: Tribal Dance

Simon Hobart's rave organisation "Dance With Feeling", a firm responible for Fusion and Vivid events, refills the friday night slot when he launches another new weekly party "Tribal Dance" at the Paradise Club in Islington, north London.

January 14th - London: Omniverse

Omniverse [ a.k.a Universe ] leave their troubles of liquidation behind, slightly change the name of their organisation to get around legal loopholes, and then start hosting "The Final Frontier" Omniverse's new weekly club night at Club UK in Wandsworth, south-west London.

With local gangs playing a big part of the demise of some of the clubs around the area, the final frontier becomes a big hit with London's clubbing fraternity due to it's more than "relaxed" attitude.

January 15th - Stirling: Dance Concept

Up in Scotland, everyone is waiting in anticipation for "The First Big One Of '94" as Mikey B's Dance Concept kickstart the new year with a party at The Fubar in Stirling, Stirlingshire.

January 15th - Birmingham: Pure X

The stage lights are on the organisers from Pure X as they make a triumphant return to the Que Club in Birmingham, west midlands in what would be the first party in a string of events at the venue by Pure X.

January 22nd - Coventry: Jungle Fever

Now self-appointed kings of the London pirate airwaves "Kool FM" take their Jungle Fever sideshow back to the midlands to host their second party held outside the capital, "Kings Of The Jungle II".

Last month's Fever at The Edge in Coventry, west Midlands turned out to be another sell-out event with hundreds of guests sucking teeth after been turned away at the door, so the demand for Jungle Fever to come again with part II is now at epic proportions. No strangers to the second room, organisers Smurf and Eastman once again sends for their trusted "Hit Squad" from Kool FM to take charge of the rabble.
