January 29th - Skegness: The Pleasuredome
It's all change for Gary and Bogey of the Pleasuredome as the heavy-handed techniques employed by the local authorities and a sheer stroke of good luck makes them move from their birthplace on the seafront [ the Festival Pavilion ] to Eastgate Leisure Centre in the Ingoldmells suburb of Skegness, Lincolnshire.
With December's party turning out to be their last ever event at the Pavilion [ heavy police presence - road blocks - police inside venue - 500 guests - 1800 capacity ] Gary and Bogey have a chance meeting with local businessman John Woodward who just happens to have interests all over Skegness. The pair find out he is just about to start work on a amusement park and he also owns the leisure centre.
January 29th - London: The Criminal Justice And Public Order Bill
The Governments "Criminal Justice And Public Order Bill" enters it's committee stage in Parliament.
If the Government has it's way and the bill is made into a act, it will be criminal offence to hold a party or gathering of a hundred or more people on ANY piece of land, even if you have permission from the land owner to be there. The bill also features other draconian measures to help the authorities make sure that holding illegal and legal outdoor parties harder to achieve, or a thing of the past.

February 4th - Plymouth: Dreamscape
Murray Beeston, Dreamscape and the ESP organisation are on the move again as they host "Dreamscape IX - It's a Knockout" at one of the hidden gems of the south-west, The Warehouse [ a.k.a "The Oz" - an old cinema hall turned ballroom, opened in 1931 as the "The Gaumont Palace" ] in Plymouth, Devon.
Feedback from the street about Dreamscape's first party in the area has been very positive, with all tickets selling within weeks of their general release. But even a major party like Dreamscape IX and the promotional nous, credibility and stature within the ravescene like ESP's, the party will still have a 2am finish. Murray and the promotional team will get around the early finish by starting the proceedings at 7.30pm so ravers will still get a full six and a half hours of hardcore raving!.
The finishing time is irrelevant though as everyone around the area is geared up for an early 2am finish anyways as this is the norm in the south-west. Local DJ Mastervibe hits the spotlight when he booked to play at Dreamscape IX. He is also requested to perform a back to back set with techno resident Clarkee in room two, the only trouble is, DJ Mastervibe has never played a techno set before...
February 18th - Plymouth: Revelation
Two weeks after the show-stopping Dreamscape IX party, hard techno is on the cards as theres another promoter about to hit town and start to hold events at The Warehouse in Plymouth, Devon.
The brainchild of Jon Lewis, [ a.k.a DJ Mach 1 ] Revelation has courted notoriety in the wrong places as they were a integral part of that Roger Cooke programme when his organisation were hosting parties at the Verbeer Manor in Collompton, Devon. The crew from Revelation will now have more happier times to contend with as they will be holding parties in one of the biggest venues in the south-west!.
