April 5th - National: Drum and Bass Selection Vol. 1 One of the most anticipated albums of this year, the first chapter of the "Drum and Bass Selection" series hits records shops nationwide. Released through Suburban Base's subsidiary Breakdown Records, this album will have you shouting "reload" due to the x-amount of tracks on it!.
With current anthems and floor-fillers like DJ Crystl's Warpdrive, Gappa G and Hyper Hypa's Information Centre, Subnation's Scottie and Jo's R-Type, this is definitely one for your record box. For those of us who don't or can't mix, there will be mixed cd and cassette versions of this album available, scratched and prepared by none other than the DJ Hype.
There's one more thing to add, to celebrate the release of this album, Breakdown have organised a launch party at the Paradise Club where DJ Hype, Andy C and many more will be performing!.

April 9th - Wolverhampton: Fibre Optic There's a manic time ahead as Royal Leamington Spa's "Fibre Optic" are coming back to their favourite venue to hold one of their special theme parties at Quest in Wolverhampton, west midlands.
Fibre Optic's "Lost In Space" will see the venue recieving full the Fibre Optic production with backdrops and visuals been brought in especially for this night which apparently has to be seen to be believed. The organisers will also draft in their regular guest list of the midland's best DJ's and MC's who will be trying to please a more than up-for-it crowd!.

April 16th - London: Fivers Finbarr O'Brien from the Pirate Club has thought long and hard and come up with "Fivers", a brand new recession-busting idea for their regular crowd at the Roller Express in Edmonton, north London.
Please don't be fooled into thinking that "Fivers" or the "Dooey For A Bluey" is only half a rave for that price, on the contrary, fivers is a regular full-on rave, with many a top name DJ passing through, but this all-nighter is only five quid!. As you would expect from a party like this, demand soared through the roof which in turn led to the wrong type of crowd paying visits to the club.
On one occassion, the security at the venue had quite a few complaints of petty theft by one particular person. A quick investigation by the security team led to them catching the thief red-handed whilst in the act, the bloke was then dragged off by security. After been frisked in the office, the security team are baffled as they couldn't find anything on the thief, until they looked in his shoes. After finding some jewellery in his shoe, the thief was stripped bare and sent on his way home, naked.
