April
April - Ayr: Hanger 13
The music at Hanger 13 in Ayr, Ayrshire is cut as eighteen-year-old John Nisbet from New Cumnock, Ayrshire has the unenviable record of becoming the first person to die from the side effects of Ecstasy after taking one-and-a-half tablets at the venue.
During this fateful night there are more causes for concern as five other guests are also taken to hospital after feeling unwell.
April 1st - London: Jungle Splash
Duck and take cover as there are dubplates coming in thick and fast from the heavy artillery, cleverly disguised as jungle-techno.
Those oldskool promoters from way back, "The Fantasic Ibiza" reload the ting to come back on the scene as "Jungle Splash". The organisers will make sure they don't leave any prisoners as they roll in from their jungle hideout to present "In Vietnam" at the Roller Express in Edmonton, north London.
April 1st - Birmingham: Pandemonium
Courting controversy at every turn and after a year hosting weekly parties in the heart of the midlands, Pandemonium retire from Brum as they hold the final round of "Club Andromeda" parties at The Institute in Birmingham, west midlands.
All is not lost though, after a re-vamp of their original home Pandemonium have gone back to restart their weekly parties at J-Jays [ but now it's called "Mr B's" ] in Willenhall near Wolverhampton.
April 2nd - Hounslow: Life / Utopia
For the Easter bank holiday, Sting promotions resurrect their other venture "Life Utopia" to host "IN-X-S" at The Ravedome Warehouse in Hounslow, Middlesex.
For what is virgin terroritory for Brett and Sting as this is a brand new venue for them to use, the team at Life Utopia will use the Ravedome to it's full potential as they send for Andy C, Ray Keith, DJ Randall and Jumping Jack Frost to officially christen London's latest rave venue, Life Utopia style!.
April 2nd - London: Roast
Is it time for a next Roast?. For the third month is a row, organisers Everton and Kingsley Taylor from Roast will gridlock Tottenham Court Road like the old days when they host the first "Easter Parade" at the London Astoria in the west end.
April 3rd - London: Thunder and Joy
This easter weekend, it's all happening in the capital as across the road from the Astoria as promoters Neil, DJ Rodney T and John from the newly formed organisation "Thunder and Joy" will host their first major "T & J" all-nighter "The Easter Smash" at the Raw Club, just underneath the Central YMCA in the west end of London.
