March 26th - Earnley: Wavenation

A few parties into their re-location to Earnley in West Sussex and everything seems to be going well for the team at the newly formed Wavenation. Then real life suddenly takes a deadly turn for the worst as Wavenation's next party, the "Cream Of The Coast" is turned into a tribute event due to circumstances way beyond the organisers control.

In preparation for their forthcoming party, a car the organisers was driving is envolved in a serious car crash. The crash leaves it's occupants fighting for their lives and tragically takes the life of Wavenation's main organiser Mensa.

As news of Mensa's passing starts to trickle through the ravescene, tributes start to pour in from fellow promoters, DJ's, MC's, artists and ravers from all corners the UK as the ravescene tries to come to terms with one of it's biggest ever shocks. Raving on the south coast is now much poorer as they have lost one of their sons, bringing a painful and abrupt end to In-ter-dance and Wavenation.

March 26th - Southend-on-Sea: Energy

Jungle is once again on the agenda as up-and-coming local DJ's Bazil and Escher plus "safe" Sid Staines from Bassment Records hold the first "Energy" at the 450 capacity Palace Hotel in Southend, Essex.

The flyer that essex junglists have been waiting ages for has hit the streets and on the first night of play Ganja's DJ Hype came into town as the invited guest to play alongside Energy residents Bazil and Escher, DJ Frenzic from Atmosphere, local producer Mad Ragga Jon and MC Spangler-G. The first Energy party proved to be so popular for the organisers, they may make Energy a monthly party!.

March 31st - London: Vision

With a new years eve party in the capital accounted for, the organiser responsible for the biggest near calamity in recent history [ Vision @ Popham Airfield ] goes back to the London Astoria in central London to host a Easter bank holiday event.

Also seeing that this party signals the end of the road for his organisation, this is the last big event Vision will hold this year. Forever the eternal magician, organiser Chris Griffin disappears off the rave promotion radar and resurfaces somewhere totally unexpected.

March - Southend-on-Sea: Global Warning

Leading airbursh artist Steven Perry [ a.k.a Pez ] has something to share with us.

Pez has just issued three portfolios of his work from his large selection of timeless images from his inner minds eye. You could buy his first set of posters, or you could get some rave flyers, or you could resign yourself into buying the third set which is both!. Apparently, all the items in the third portfolio will be totally different than the other two sets!.

You better be quick to purchase those portfolios though, the last time an organiser commissioned Pez to design a set of posters for them, the posters sold out in double quick time!.
