May 1st - London: The Criminal Justice And Public Order Bill Ravers, travellers, promoters and the general public's rights are under threat as thousands of protestors react peacefully against the conservative backed "CJB".
Organised by the "Advance Party", the demonstration sees around ten thousand people march through central London in opposition against the proposed bill. Ably supported by a camouflaged Bedford van, supplied by Luton free-party activists Exodus, the demonstration starts as the crowd converges in Hyde Park and will finish with rally in Trafalgar Square.
After the demonstation there was a little bit of critisism from sources which said that the turnout at the demonstration could have been a lot greater if some of the scene's "Big Boys" were present as parts of the bill are tailored to them personally as it will make outdoor events even more harder to pull off.
Four years ago, the pay-party scene could see the massive implications of proposed government bills so they brought together an alliance, made a record and got their followers imobilised. The Government didn't listen and passed the bill anyways, do you think that the "Big Boys" know something we dont?.
