November - Liverpool: The Underground

With the demise of the State ballroom earlier this month still reverbrating through Liverpool's clubland, nine months of weekend frolicing will reach it's peak as Merseyside Police's main focus will now switch to the Underground in Victoria Street, Liverpool.

 

Police officers carry out a major drugs bust on the city centre venue. Nightclub owners James Barton and John Kelly also feel the wrath of the local authorities as they are excluded from holding parties in the Liverpool area for the forseeable future.

December 1st - Northampton: ESP Promotions

Craig Campbell [ who has appeared in a episode of London Weekend Television's "Blind Date", hosted by crooner Cilla Black ] of the newly formed "ESP Promotions" tests out the local vibes by hosting the first of many parties at the Roadmender centre in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

 

 

December 7th - London: Rage

There could be lots of changes in store on London's clubland as the people's choice "Rage" re-opens for business at Heaven nightclub in central London. As the Rampling's bow out of the phrenetic scene they helped to create, the rage name will still live on as the rights to their old venutre will change hands to a new management team.

 

Ready to take up the daunting challenge and operating the controls at the club are longtime friends and Rage resident DJ's Fabio and Grooverider who will relax the previous music and strict door policy at their new club to make it more accessible to everybody.

 

The new management start up a new membership scheme where as for a little fee, paid-up members will recieve priority treatment by queue-jumping the stragglers via a special queue and they will also recieve compilmentary invites on their impending birthdays. A few months later, the new management will book more live P.A's than before and organise special theme nights, transforming their club into one of the most talked about parties in town and the end-of-week gathering point.

 

 

December 16th - Middlesbrough: Butterloggie

The furthest regions of England are just about ready to recieve their transfusion of potent acid house.

 

The odd-sounding "Butterloggie" is launched with their first party at the Herlingshaw Centre in the Eston suburb of Middlesbrough, Cleveland. The warehouse-cum-indoor-bmx-track becomes the pivital point for a whole new generation of clubbers in the north-east of England.

 

 

 

 

 

 

December 30th - Blackburn: Whitebirk

Party organisers are about to take an very uncalculated risk as they attempt to hold their forth illegal party on the Whitebirk Enterprise Centre in the same month!. The massive pay party at the Lancashire Fire depot in Blackburn, Lancashire reaches a unruly crescendo after a police car is set ablaze during scuffles between the Lancashire Constabulary and guests arriving at the party, around five-thousand people attended this gathering.
