April 19th - Coventry: Fantazia

Gloucester promoter James Perkins and ex-Perception organiser Gideon Dawson collaborate to host their first party under the "Fantazia" banner at the Eclipse in Coventry, west Midlands. A very impressive debut line-up [ Sasha, Carl Cox, Jumping Jack Frost, DJ SS, Ellis Dee and The Scientist ] brings forth the start of a brand new era in raving, Fantazia is here!.

May 2nd - Newcastle: Rezerection

The brainchild of organiser Paul Ludford, Rezerection holds their first party in very grand surroundings, the three thousand capacity Mayfair ballroom in the center of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear.

 

With previous live acts adorning the venue like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy, the "Rez" team have a lot to live up to. The Mayfair becomes the temporary home base of a sleeping giant.

 

 

May 3rd - Basingstoke: Evolution

Martin Phippen, Phil Castle and Pawprint promotions go back into the clink to host their fifth party at the imposing Park Prewitt Hospital in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

 

 

May 5th - Birmingham: Time & Underground Promotions

Two of Birmingham's leading promoters, Kenny Kahn's Time and UB40's Underground promotions combine forces to hold the last rave at the Rag Market in Birmingham, west Midlands.

 

For one night only, all the stalls in the market are removed as thousands of ravers from all over the UK unite to take over one of central Birmingham's most famous landmarks to celebrate the end of a era.

 

 

 

May 10th - London: The Temple

Energy's reincarnation is almost complete. Taylor and Chambers of FX promotions will make Friday nights a lot brighter for south londoners as they begin hosting "The Temple" at Zatopeks near Battersea, south London. Those in the know will know that Zatopeks has not been used as a raving venue since Biology held their first party there, but "FX" will use their magic to give the venue a new lease of life.

 

On the temple's opening night and in the forthcoming months, lucky ticket holders will able to hear sets from Fabio, Grooverider, Jumping Jack Frost, Matt B, Mr C, The Face, Carl Cox and Frankie Bones. If you like P.A's , FX promotions have also booked Guru Josh, Cola Boy and the Rat Pack to play at their parties, raving in south London comes alive again!.
