Summer - National: Rave Board Game The ravescene and middle England collide spectacarly as the highly controversial Rave board game is released by adult toy company Wow Enterprises.
A game not for minors and loosely based on that London property game, players of the game have to go to three clubs to collect three flyers. After picking up these flyers, players will move up to the upper echelons of the ravescene and get the chance to promote a rave. During the game you will have to try and avoid any obstacles [ dead ends, police ] and possible mishaps on the way.
With all the best intentions of the creater and manufacturer, the board game went on to sell in excess of twenty-thousand units. Once the national media found out about Rave, they succesfully lobbied to get the game withdrawn.
Leading stationer WH Smith takes the incentive and removed the game from their shelves as the "illegal" content of Rave would be going against their family-friendly image. After WH Smith reached for their moral compass and removed the game from it's shelves, Wow's Rave was withdrawn entirely from purchase by the Government as the board game promotes drug taking.

August
August 2nd - Brafield: Weekend World & ESP Promotions Through a chance meeting of minds, ESP's Murray Beeston's is given the once-in-a-lifetime oppotunity that he simpily cannot refuse. A joint colaboration with Weekend World's Tarquin de Meza bares fruit as the new partnership present "Heaven On Earth" at the International Raceway near the village of Brafield, Northamptonshire.
The joint "Heaven On Earth" rave has been fully ratified by the local council is offically licenced for up to seven-thousand lucky ticket holding guests, early indications are looking very positive as the party eventually sells out with just weeks to go.
On the day, local ravers who failed to get a ticket and where missing out on a night of raving took the oldskool "express route" and climbed the perimeter fences to get in, local police estimate that around five thousand "guests" took this method of entry. Now with around twelve-thousand people at their rave, national newspapers suggest that heaven on earth is the UK's biggest legal rave to date.

August 3rd to September 28th - Various: Raindance This august could be one the busiest months ever for Essex promoters Raindance as they attempt to do what no other organiser has ever tried before. Spread over the coming months, the crew at Raindance will host the very ambitious "Indian Summer" tour, a series of six parties held in various locations around the east anglian and midlands areas.
The first step in Raindance's crazy logistical nightmare begins with "The Gathering Of The Tribes" at their spiritual home at Jenkins Lane near Barking, Essex. Six days later and rave two of the tour will be held in pork pie terroritory with their "Exodus" at Great Dalby Airfeld in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
Rave three in late August was billed as a top secret party and is going to be held in a unknown location. A week later, the team will be hosting rave four of the tour which is due to be held at another top secret location. As raves three and four are top secret parties and are subject to licenses been granted, we will just had to keep our fingers crossed that those licenses are approved.
The penultimate party on the tour is due to be held on a special day for the organisation. The team are also going to be celebrating three years in the rave business with their birthday ball, back where it all began at Jenkins Lane. Finally, the crew will hope to finish on a high as they end the six-date specatacle with the
"Roar" end-of-tour party near Wicken in Cambridgeshire!.
