June - Wormelow: Obsession
After the mishaps at Fantazia's Summertime event in May, Gideon Dawson goes on holiday to think about working with Fantazia. On returning, Gideon decided to quit working for them on the basis that they fought more about the financial gains than looking after the punter.
Around the same time, Fantazia counteract to the situation and issue a press release revealing that Gideon Dawson has been sacked by them due to the ticket fiasco at Bournemouth. The organisers also said that some other serious issues regarding the tape sales also lead to his departure.
In amongst all this chaos, Gideon Dawson strikes out on his own and takes the promotions team that worked with him at Fantazia and starts a brand new company, Chapter III Promotions. Gideon also goes on to promote a new weekly club venture "Obsession" at The Park in Wormelow, Herefordshire.
June 5th - Dunstable: Exodus
Peace, Love, Unity, Struggle... The free party scene in Bedfordshire gathers momentum as DJ Hazad, Glenn Jenkins and a collective of a dozen or so friends start to hold regular illegal gatherings in the countryside around Luton.
In-keeping with the free party spirit and using the sound equipment they reclaimed from a skip, the Exodus collective managed to pull in 150 guests at their first event in the caves near Dunstable.
June 13th - Derby: Pandemonium
After the serious bout of forgery and the media reaction that was Andromeda II, Pandemonium take a six month break enforced on them unoffically by the successors of the pay party unit.
During their unexpected period of rest, the organisers have re-grouped and started hosting club nights in J-Jays in Willenhall, near Wolverhampton. Pandemonium also have been busy planning and preparing for their next big adventure for their midlands contingent, "Andromeda III - The Trilogy" at the 6,500 capacity Donington Park Exhibition Centre near Derby.
The customary full house of ravers turned up to show that Pandemonium hadn't lost any of their magic.
June 18th - Longton: Shelley's Laserdrome
Shelley's Laserdrome and owner John Matthews is sweating after once again been threatened with the club's closure. Stoke's local newspaper the Evening Sentinel has revealed that Staffordshire Police will be objecting to the renewal of it's entertainment License.
Undercover Police have also seen dealers openly selling drugs and have been offered them inside the venue. The have also seen numerous transactions take place in the Kwik Save car park next door, these are as good a reasons to revoke their license.
Since the end of last year, Staffordshire Police have carried out an intensive surveillance operation on his venue. Codenamed "Patriot", there pro-active approach to the narcotics problem has so far netted them over three hundred people on drugs related charges.
