June 27th - Brafield: Amnesia House After first announcing his intention of wanting to get married at a rave on the ITV's weekday chatshow "The Time, The Place" way back in '89, Nemesis and Amnesia House promoter Micky Lynas gets to put his dream into furition as Amnesia House hosts in what could be the event of the year, "The book of love, the first house wedding" at Brafield Stadium near Northampton.
On a hot summers day, and with a queue as far as the eye can see... The fifteen thousand guests at the party are treated to sets by Carl Cox, Fabio, Grooverider, Micky Finn, Jumping Jack Frost, Stu Allan and Top Buzz. Amnesia have also laid on live P.A's from The Prodigy, Dream Frequency plus special guests 808 State [ who pretended to be the KLF, dressed in monks outfits ] to help keep the ravers entertained.
With Grooverider acting as the best man on this special occasion and Amnesia's own MC Loud 'n' Nasty taking care of proceedings, all eyes move onto the happy couple as lucky Micky Lynas and his bride-to-be, Tereen Burckitt eventually get married in front of gathering of ravers inside.
Shortly after this event had finished, Micky Lynas left Amnesia House in acrimonious circumstances to create Dance Trance [ He also took the rights to Club Rage with him as well ] after it was revealed that the biggest party in years "The Book Of Love" didn't make any money for the other partners [ Nev Fivey and Bam Bam ] in Amnesia House. Also, Micky took a majority of the credit for the book of love rave and the Amnesia House organisation as a whole, which didn't sit well with the other partners.
