August 26th - Stevenage: Jungle Fever

London's junglist massive shout for the rewind and face another agonising motorway trip as Kool FM's side venture "Jungle Fever" celebrates their first birthday at a venue that hasn't been used for this type [ proper rowdy ] of party before, the Stevenage Ice Bowl in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

Armed with record boxes filled with the latest dubplates and test presses, DJ Tonic and Pressure "X", Devious D and Andy C, Hype and Randall, Fabio and Grooverider plus DJ Ron and DJ Brockie create a first for the junglists at the party as they will throw down the riddims back to back!.

Over in arena two, the usual suspects from Jungle Fever's "bread and butter" weekend occupation - the "Kool FM Hitsquad" will show the junglists at Ice bowl how they run tings down in London.

August 26th - Aldershot: One Nation

MC Free and Easy, sorry. Terry Turbo takes a break from flyer distribution as his party organisation, One Nation goes very close to home turf but strays deep into 4-beat territory to present their next big party "Best Of The Best" at the Rhythm Station in Army Town, Hampshire.

Even though the venue is in a happy hardcore constituency, this event should be much better than last months rave. The last time One Nation came over [ last month ] to Aldershot, they held a "warm-up" club tour party - the place was absolutely packed with hardly any promotion!.

August 26th & 27th - Burnley: Angels

Organiser Paul Taylor and his staff chill the champagne, crack open the party poppers and arrange the backdrops and decrorations as they welcome their families, guests and friends to a very special weekend at Angels nightclub in Burnley, Lancashire. Those folk in Burnley have a very good reason to shout from the rooftops as their local nightclub has reached the very impressive age of TWENTY years old!.

As it's not everyday a nightclub reaches the grand old age of twenty, so this special occassion needs a couple of parties. On friday night the organisers have booked the services of the resident DJ at the Gallery in London town, "Tall" Paul Newman who headlines tonight and will play alongside retro resident Rick B and organiser Paul Taylor.

This Saturday night is the big one for the crew at Angels as they see the oldskool legend and Perfecto's head honcho Paul Oakenfold stroll into town to spin a few tracks for the crowd. Just to make sure this party is a birthday they are takling about, Angels treated their regulars properly as they also booked another legend from the oldskool, Carl Cox to show the crowd what he can do with a pair of decks, or three if you have a spare turntable lying around. Organiser Paul Taylor was also there providing the back up as the third man in the wall.

August 27th - Ayr: Hanger 13

All parties at Hanger 13 in Ayr, Ayrshire are cancelled this week as a mark of respect for twenty-year-old Andrew Stoddart, who died at the venue last week.

After eventually closing the club for the forseeable future and coming to terms with the third death at Hanger 13, Christine Ridha, the manager of the venue said to reporters that the club will re-open "after consultation between ourselves, the police and the licensing authorities".
